Covers construction, marking and test requirements for a.c. and d.c. type portable fuel cell systems. These fuel cell systems are movable and not fastened or otherwise secured to a specific location. The purpose of a portable fuel cell system is to produce useable power.

technologies, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as
EN 62282-5-1 on 2007-06-01.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2008-03-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2010-06-01
Annex ZA has been added by CENELEC.
