Photovoltaics in buildings - Part 1: BIPV modules
This document applies to photovoltaic modules that contain at least one glass pane and which are used as construction products. It focuses on the properties of these photovoltaic modules relevant to essential building requirements as specified in the European Construction Product Regulation CPR 305/2011, and the applicable electro-technical requirements as stated in the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU / or CENELEC standards. The CE mark of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules will thus state properties based on both documents as they are both equally applicable. This document references international standards, technical reports and guidelines. For some mounting categories, in addition, national standards (or regulations) for building products may apply in individual countries, which are not explicitly referenced here and for which harmonized European Standards are not yet available. The document is addressed to manufacturers, planners, system designers, installers, testing institutes and building authorities. This document does not address concentrating or building-attached photovoltaic modules (BAPV). This document addresses requirements on the PV modules in the specific ways they are intended to be mounted. Separable mounting structures are within the scope of EN 50583 2. NOTE For the definition of building-attached photovoltaic modules (BAPV) refer to Clause 3.

Le présent document s'applique aux modules photovoltaïques qui comprennent au moins un panneau de verre et qui sont utilisés comme des produits de construction. Il cible les propriétés des modules photovoltaïques qui se rapportent aux exigences de construction essentielles spécifiées dans le règlement européen sur les produits de construction (CPR - Construction Product Regulation) 305/2011, et les exigences électrotechniques applicables indiquées dans la directive basse tension 2014/35/EU ou dans les normes CENELEC. Le marquage CE des modules photovoltaïques intégrés au bâtiment modules (modules BIPV) sert à indiquer leurs propriétés sur la base de ces deux documents, car ils sont tout aussi applicables. Le présent document fait référence à des normes internationales, des rapports techniques et des lignes directrices. Pour certaines catégories de montage, d'autres normes nationales (ou règlements nationaux) relatives aux produits de construction peuvent s'appliquer dans certains pays, qui ne sont pas référencées de manière explicite dans la présente norme et pour lesquelles il n'existe pas encore de normes européennes harmonisées. Ce document est destiné aux fabricants, aux planificateurs, aux concepteurs de systèmes, aux installateurs, aux organismes d'essai et aux autorités compétentes en matière de construction. Le présent document ne traite pas des modules photovoltaïques à concentration ou attenants à un bâtiment (BAPV - building-attached photovoltaic modules). Le présent document traite des exigences relatives aux méthodes spécifiques selon lesquelles les modules BIPV sont destinés à être montés. Les structures de montage détachables relèvent du domaine d'application de l'EN 50583 2. NOTE Voir l’Article 3 pour la définition des modules photovoltaïques attenants au bâtiment (modules BAPV).
