The text of document 86A/1204/FDIS, future edition 1 of IEC 60794-2-50, prepared by SC 86A, Fibres
and cables, of IEC TC 86, Fibre optics, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was
approved by CENELEC as EN 60794-2-50 on 2008-06-01.
This standard is to be used in conjunction with EN 60794-1-1, EN 60794-1-2 and EN 60794-2.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2009-03-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
(dow) 2011-06-01
with the EN have to be withdrawn
Annex ZA has been added by CENELEC.
