64 FOREWORD
65 1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
66 all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
67 international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
68 this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications,
69 Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC

106 This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition published in 2011. This edition
107 constitutes a technical revision.
108 This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous

112 b) Updated the Test schedule table format and added Notes and other information
