1.1 Product definition This document contains the initial, start of life dimensional, optical, mechanical and environmental performance requirements which a connector terminated with cylindrical zirconia 9° angled PC ferrule and assembled singlemode resilient alignment sleeve SC-APC simplex connector set (plug/adaptor/plug), adaptor and patchcord meet in order for it to be categorized as an EN standard product. This document is intended to replace CECC 86 265-803. Since different variants are permitted, product marking details are given in 4.6. 1.2 Intermateability Products conforming to the requirements of this document are intended to intermate, and it is expected that the specified level of random attenuation performance will be met. The intention is that this will be true irrespective of the manufacturing source(s) of the product. 1.3 Operating environment The tests selected, combined with the severities and durations, are representative of a category OP environment described in EN IEC 61753-1. 1.4 Reliability Whilst the anticipated service life expectancy of the product in this environment is 20 years, compliance with this document does not guarantee the reliability of the product. This is expected to be predicted using a recognized reliability assessment programme. 1.5 Quality assurance Compliance with this document does not guarantee the manufacturing consistency of the product. This is expected to be maintained using a recognized quality assurance programme.

1.1 Définition du produit Le présent document contient les exigences de performances initiales, dimensionnelles de début de vie, optiques, mécaniques et environnementales auxquelles un connecteur raccordé à une férule PC cylindrique en zircone à angle de 9° et un jeu de connecteurs (fiche-raccord-fiche) de type SC-APC simplex à manchon d’alignement élastique unimodal assemblé, un raccord et un cordon de brassage satisfont afin d’être classés comme produits entrant dans une norme EN de produit. Le présent document est destiné à remplacer la CECC 86 265-803. Dans la mesure où différentes variantes sont autorisées, les détails de marquage des produits sont donnés en 4.6. 1.2 Compatibilité d’accouplement Les produits conformes aux exigences du présent document sont prévus pour s’accoupler entre eux et il est attendu que le niveau spécifié de performance de dispersion d’affaiblissement soit atteint. Le but est que cela se vérifie indépendamment des sources de fabrication du produit. 1.3 Environnement de fonctionnement Les essais choisis, combinés avec leurs sévérités et leurs durées, sont représentatifs d’un environnement de catégorie OP décrit dans l’EN IEC 61753-1. 1.4 Fiabilité Alors que l’espérance de vie du produit prévue dans cet environnement est de 20 ans, la conformité au présent document ne garantit pas la fiabilité du produit. 1.1 Opredelitev izdelka
Ta dokument vsebuje začetne dimenzijske, optične, mehanske in okoljske zahteve za delovanje, ki jih morajo na začetku svoje življenjske dobe izpolnjevati konektor, zaključen s cilindrično cirkonijevo tulko PC pod kotom 9°, montirani konektorski sestav simpleksa SC-APC enorodne odporne poravnalne spojke (vtič-pretvornik-vtič), pretvornik in stikalni kabel, da se lahko kategorizirajo kot izdelki v skladu s standardom EN. Ta dokument nadomešča standard CECC 86 265-803.
Ker so dovoljene različne izvedbe, so podrobnosti o označevanju izdelkov podane v točki 4.6.
1.2 Medsebojna združljivost
