Multimedia home server systems - Digital rights permission code
IEC 62227:2008(E) defines the permission code, a set of permission related information in short code form, primarily intended for home server systems. The permission code is comprised of a common ID system (content ID, issuer ID, receiver ID, device ID, etc.) and a narrowly-defined permission code.

La CEI 62227:2008 définit le code d'autorisation qui est un ensemble d'informations associées à une autorisation sous forme d'un code court, destiné principalement aux systèmes de serveurs résidentiels. Le code d'autorisation est constitué d'un système d'identifiants communs (identifiant de contenu, identifiant d'émetteur, identifiant de récepteur, identifiant de dispositif, etc.) et d'un code d'autorisation de définition restreinte.
Sistemi z večpredstavnostnim domačim strežnikom - Dovolilni kod za digitalne pravice (IEC 62227:2008)
Ta mednarodni standard določa dovolilni kod, niz podatkov v zvezi z dovoljenjem v obliki kratkega koda, ki so primarno namenjeni za sisteme z domačim strežnikom. Dovolilni kod je sestavljen iz sistema skupnih ID (ID vsebine, ID izdajatelja, ID prejemnika, ID naprave itd.) in ozko opredeljenega dovolilnega koda. Sistem skupnih ID se uporablja za sistematično identifikacijo vsake osebe, naprave in vsebine, ki je lahko vpletena v potek digitalne distribucije vsebine. Dovolilni kod lahko izraža številne nize podatkov o dovoljenju in pogojih dovoljenja, ki so potrebni za prenos vsebine v zelo kratki obliki koda. Dovolilni kod ni opredeljen iz tehničnega vidika, ampak bolj na podlagi podatkov o dovoljenju, ki jih imetniki pravic dejansko uporabijo na področju. Dovolilni kod odraža njegova tehnična učinkovitost v zvezi z digitalno distribucijo vsebine.

Multimedia home server systems, of IEC TC 100, Audio, video and multimedia systems and equipment,
was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 62227 on
2008-09-01.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2009-06-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2011-09-01
Annex ZA has been added by CENELEC.
