Overview
IEC 61162-3:2008/AMD2:2014 (Amendment 2) is an update to the international standard for maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment - Part 3: Serial data instrument network. This amendment modernizes the normative references to later NMEA 2000 documents and extends the set of supported parameter group numbers (PGNs) used to represent marine sensor, AIS and navigation data on serial-data networks.
