Due to legislation in different countries the sale of tungsten filament lamps is banned.
According to the above, electronic switches for incandescent lamps are tested by using either
a number of 200 W tungsten filament lamps or a number of halogen filament lamps.
As the characteristics of halogen filament lamps of different power are equivalent, lamps of
any power can be used to reach the rated load.
