BRIEF HISTORY
The IS0 Recommendation R 1866, Pelletized carbon black for use in the rubber industry, delivered in bulk
or in bins - Specification for maximum fines content, was drawn up by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45, Rubber,
the Secretariat of which is held by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
Work on this question led tb the adoption of Draft IS0 Recommendation No. 1866,which was circulated to
all the IS0 Member Bodies for enquiry in June 1969. It was approved, subject to a few modifications of an editorial
nature, by the following Member Bodies :

HISTORIQUE
La Recommandation ISO/R 1866, Noir de carbone en granules destiné a l’industrie des élastomères, livré en
vrac ou en récipients - Spécifications pour la teneur en matièresfines, a été élaborée par le Comité Technique
ISO/TC 45, Cuoutchouc, dont le Secrétariat est assuré par la British Standards Institution (BSI).
Les travaux relatifs à cette question aboutirent à l’adoption du Projet de Recommandation IS0 No 1866 qui
fut soumis, en juin 1969, à l’enquête de tous les Comités Membres de I’ISO. I1 fut approuvé, sous réserve de quelques
modifications d’ordre rédactionnel, par les Comités Membres suivants :
