Предисловие
Международная организация по стандартизации (ISO) является всемирной федерацией национальных
организаций по стандартизации (комитетов-членов ISO). Разработка международных стандартов
обычно осуществляется техническими комитетами ISO. Каждый комитет-член, заинтересованный в
деятельности, для которой был создан технический комитет, имеет право быть представленным в этом

испытаний и технические условия качества бумаги и картона, в соответствии с договором о
техническом сотрудничестве между ISO и CEN (Венский договор).
Настоящее первое издание отменяет и замещает ENV 12625-8:2001, которое технически пересмотрено.
В том, что касается ENV 12625-8:2001, то сделаны следующие изменения:
a) описание приготовления и кондиционирования образцов для проведения испытаний
сформулировано более точно;
b) инструкция для процедуры ручного метода испытания, а также для процедуры автоматического
метода испытания изложена более точно;
c) добавлены цифры для сходимости методов испытаний;
d) внесены редакционные добавления и изменения;
e) изменен статус с ENV на ISO.
Международный стандарт ISO 12625 состоит из следующих частей под общим заголовком Тонкая
бумага и изделия из нее:

Введение
Настоящая часть ISO 12625 характеризует принцип определения свойств поглощения воды тонкой
бумагой и изделиями из нее, т.е. принципа, когда листы образца вставляются в цилиндрическую
корзину, которая погружается в воду. Результаты выражаются как:
⎯ время водопоглощения;
⎯ водопоглощающая способность.
В европейской и международной торговле время и способность поглощения воды представляют
важные параметры, необходимые в области сравнения изделий из тонкой бумаги.

1 Область применения
Настоящая часть ISO 12625 задает методы испытания с погружением корзины (один ручной и один
автоматический) для определения времени поглощения воды и водопоглощающей способности тонкой
бумаги и изделий из нее.
Определенно заявлено, что анализ включений и нежелательных примесей в тонкой бумаге следует
применять в соответствии с ISO 15755.
Для определения содержания влаги в тонкой бумаге и изделиях из нее следует применять ISO 287.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been
established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and
non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.
The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards
adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an
International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote.

ISO 12625-8 was prepared by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) Technical Committee
CEN/TC 172, Pulp, paper and board, in collaboration with Technical Committee ISO/TC 6, Paper, board and
pulps, Subcommittee 2, Test methods and quality specifications for paper and board, in accordance with the
Agreement on technical cooperation between ISO and CEN (Vienna Agreement).
This first edition cancels and replaces ENV 12625-8:2001, which has been technically revised.
With regard to ENV 12625-8:2001, the following changes have been made:
a) the description of the preparation and conditioning of the test pieces was formulated more precisely;
b) the instruction for the manual test method procedure, as well as for the automated test method procedure,
were described more precisely;
c) figures for the precision of both test methods were added;
d) editorial updating;
e) change of the status from ENV to ISO.

Introduction
This part of ISO 12625 describes one principle for determination of water-absorption properties of tissue paper
and tissue products, a principle in which sheets of the sample are inserted in a cylindrical basket, which is
immersed in water. The results are expressed as:
⎯ water-absorption time;
⎯ water-absorption capacity.
In European and International trade, both water-absorption time and water-absorption capacity represent
important parameters required in the field of comparison of tissue products.

1 Scope
This part of ISO 12625 specifies basket-immersion test methods (one manual and one automated) for the
determination of water-absorption time and water-absorption capacity of absorbent tissue paper and tissue
products.
It is expressly stated that the detection of impurities and contraries in tissue paper and tissue products should
be applied according to ISO 15755.
For the determination of moisture content in tissue paper and tissue products, ISO 287 should be applied.

Introduction
La présente partie de l’ISO 12625 décrit un principe permettant de déterminer les propriétés d’absorption
d’eau du papier tissue et des produits tissues. Dans ce principe, des feuilles de l’échantillon sont placées
dans un panier cylindrique immergé dans l’eau. Les résultats sont exprimés sous les deux formes suivantes:
⎯ le temps d’absorption d’eau;
⎯ la capacité d’absorption d’eau.
En Europe et dans le monde entier, le temps d’absorption d’eau et la capacité d’absorption d’eau représentent
des paramètres exigés pour la comparaison des produits tissues.

1 Domaine d'application
La présente partie de l’ISO 12625 spécifie des méthodes d’essai d’immersion au panier (une méthode
manuelle et une méthode automatique) permettant de déterminer le temps d’absorption d’eau et la capacité
d’absorption d’eau du papier tissue et des produits tissues absorbants.
Il est expressément mentionné qu’il convient de procéder à la détection d’impuretés ou de défauts sur les
papiers tissues et les produits tissues conformément à l’ISO 15755.
Il convient d’appliquer l’ISO 287 pour déterminer la teneur en humidité des papiers tissues et des produits
tissues.
