ISO 12625-8:2006 specifies basket-immersion test methods (one manual and one automated) for the determination of water-absorption time and water-absorption capacity of absorbent tissue paper and tissue products.

Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkte - Teil 8: Zeit für die Wasseraufnahme und Wasseraufnahmekapazität, Korbeintauch-Prüfverfahren (ISO 12625-8:2006)

Dieser Teil der ISO 12625 legt Korbeintauch-Prüfverfahren (ein manuelles und ein automatisches Prüfverfahren) für die Bestimmung der Zeit für die Wasseraufnahme und für die Wasseraufnahmekapazität von Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkten fest.
Es wird ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass zur Erkennung von Unreinheiten und Verunreinigungen in Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkten ISO 15755 angewendet werden sollte.
Für die Bestimmung des Feuchtegehaltes in Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkten sollte ISO 287 angewendet werden.

L'ISO 12625-8:2006 spécifie des méthodes d'essai d'immersion au panier (une méthode manuelle et une méthode automatique) permettant de déterminer le temps d'absorption d'eau et la capacité d'absorption d'eau du papier tissue et des produits tissues absorbants.

172 "Pulp, paper and board", the secretariat of which is held by DIN, in collaboration with
Technical Committee ISO/TC 6 "Paper, board and pulps".

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2006, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by September 2006.
