I. SCOPt
La présente Recommandation IS0 précise. en complément des règles de sécurité générales exposées dans
la Recommandation ISO/R 1819. Engins de manutention continue

les règles de sécurité particulières aux engins de manutention continue pour charges isolées suivants :
convoyeurs au sol entraineurs de chariot et transporteurs au sol entraîneurs de chariot (chaîne ou poussoir
au-dessus du sol).
2. DOMAINE D’APPLICATION
Les règles de sécuritc établies dans la présente Recommandation IS0 sont applicables quelle que soit la desti-
nation du matériel.
Ces règles de sécurité limitent la responsabilité des constructeurs aux engins de manutention continue proprement
dits. à l’exclusion des structures sur lesquelles ces équipements sont fixés.
3. REGLES DE SECURITE PARTICULIERES
La construction et l’exploitation des convoyeurs au sol entraîneurs de chariot et transporteurs au sol entraîneurs
de chariot (chaîne ou poussoir au-dessus du sol). doivent satisfaire

aux principes exposés dans le chapitre 1 de la Recommandation ISO/R 1819,
