BRIEF HISTORY
The IS0 Recommendation R 44, Direcfions of Operation of Toggle Switches
on Aircrafl, was drawn up by the Technical Committee ISO/TC 20, Aircraft,
the Secretariat of which is held by the British Standards Institution (B.S.I.).
During its second meeting, held in Paris, in October 1952, the Technical
Committee adopted the proposals made by the United Kingdom Member Body.

La Recommandation ISO/R 44, Sens de manœuvre des interrupteurs à
levier à bord des aéronefs, a été élaborée par le Comité Technique ISO/‘rC 20,
Aéronautique, dont le Secrétariat est assumé par la British Standards Insti-
tution (B.S.I.).
Au cours de sa deuxième réunion, tenue i Paris, en octobre 1952, le Comité
Technique adopta les propositions présentées par le Comité Membre du Royaume-
Uni. Les Comités Membres suivants participaient & cette réunion :
