Open Data Communication in Building Automation, Controls and Building Management - Control Network Protocol - Part 6: Application elements
This European Standard provides mechanisms through which various vendors of building automation, control, and building management systems may exchange information in a standardized way.
This document provides specifications for the Application Elements of Control Network Protocol packets as follows:
- definitions of standardized packet (network-variable) data types;
- definitions of device-interface files;
- definitions of standardized configuration-property types;
- definitions of standardized enumeration types;
- definitions of standardized functional profiles;
- definition of the standardized method of file transfer between devices.
The purpose of this specification is to ensure interoperability between various CNP implementations. This document contains all the information necessary to read and interpret the format of data and control information that is used by EN 14908-5. It also defines the device interface for a device as specified, which is necessary to exchange data between various devices from different manufacturers.

Le présent document fournit les mécanismes par lesquels plusieurs vendeurs de systèmes d’automatisation, de régulation et de gestion technique du bâtiment peuvent échanger des informations de manière normalisée.
Il fournit des spécifications relatives aux Éléments pour l’application des paquets du protocole de réseau CNP (Control Network Protocol) comme suit :
— Définitions des types de données de paquet normalisées (variable de réseau)
— Définitions des fichiers d’interface de dispositif
— Définitions des types normalisés de propriétés de configuration
— Définitions des types énumératifs normalisés
— Définitions des profils fonctionnels normalisés
— Définition de la méthode normalisée de transfert de fichiers entre les dispositifs
L’objectif de la présente spécification est d’assurer l’interopérabilité entre différentes implémentations CNP. Le présent document contient toutes les informations nécessaires pour lire et interpréter le format de données et contrôler les informations utilisées par l’EN 14908-5.Il définit également l’interface d’un dispositif tel que spécifié, nécessaire pour échanger des données entre divers dispositifs provenant de différents fabricants.

Ta evropski standard določa mehanizme, prek katerih si lahko različni ponudniki avtomatizacije stavb, izvršnih elementov in upravljanja stavb na standardiziran način izmenjujejo informacije.
Ta dokument zagotavlja specifikacije za aplikacijske elemente paketov protokola regulacijske mreže, kot sledi:
– definicije standardiziranih paketnih (omrežno spremenljivih) podatkovnih tipov;
– definicije datotek vmesnikov naprav;
– definicije standardiziranih vrst lastnosti konfiguracije;
– definicije standardiziranih vrst naštevanja;
– definicije standardiziranih funkcijskih profilov;
– definicija standardizirane metode prenosa datotek med napravami.
Namen te specifikacije je zagotoviti interoperabilnost med različnimi uvedbami protokolov regulacijske mreže. Ta dokument vsebuje vse informacije, potrebne za branje in interpretacijo formata podatkov in kontrolnih podatkov, ki se uporabljajo v standardu EN 14908-5. Določa tudi vmesnik naprave za napravo, kot je določeno, kar je potrebno za izmenjavo podatkov med različnimi napravami različnih proizvajalcev.
