Elastomeric seals - Materials requirements for pipe joint seals used in water and drainage applications - Part 4: Cast polyurethane sealing elements

This Standard specifies requirements for materials used in factory cast polyurethane sealing elements used in joints for drainage, sewerage and rainwater systems and non potable water supply for continuous flow up to 45°C. General requirements for finished joint seals are also given; any additional requirements called for by the particular application are specified in the relevant product standards taking into account that the performance of pipe joints is a function of the seal material properties, seal geometry and pipe joint design.
This Standard is applicable to joint seals for all pipeline materials, including iron, steel, clay, fibre cement, concrete, plastics and glass-reinforced plastics.

Elastomer-Dichtungen - Werkstoff-Anforderungen für Rohrleitungs-Dichtmittel für Anwendungen in der Entwässerung und Kanalisation - Teil 4: Dichtelemente aus gegossenem Polyurethan

Diese Norm spezifiziert die Anforderungen an die Werkstoffe, die in Dichtelementen aus gegossenem Polyurethan für Verbindungen in Rohrleitungssystemen zur Entwässerung, Kanalisation und Regenwasserableitung sowie in Versorgungssystemen für nicht-trinkbares,
ununterbrochen fließendes Wasser bis zu 45 °C verwendet werden. Dazu werden allgemeine Anforderungen an die fertigen Dichtringe angegeben. Alle zusätz-lichen Anforderungen, die für die jeweilige Anwendung erforderlich sind, sind in den ein-schlägigen
Produktnormen spezifiziert; dabei wird berücksichtigt, daß die Leistungsfähigkeit einer Rohrleitungsdichtung eine Funktion der Werkstoffeigenschaften der Dichtung, der geometrischen Form der Dichtung und der Konstruktion der Rohrverbindung ist. Diese Norm ist anwendbar für Dichtungen für alle Rohrleitungs-Werkstoffe einschließlich Eisen, Stahl, Steinzeug, Faserzement, Beton, Kunststoffe und glasfaserverstärkte Kunst-stoffe.

Garnitures d'étanchéité en caoutchouc - Spécification des matériaux pour garnitures d'étanchéité pour joints de canalisation utilisés dans le domaine de l'eau et de l'évacuation - Partie 4: Eléments d'étanchéité en polyuréthane moulé

La présente norme détermine les prescriptions relatives aux matériaux utilisés dans les éléments d'étanchéité en polyuréthane moulé en usine, utilisés dans les joints pour les réseaux d'évacuation, d'assainissement et d'eaux pluviales et les réseaux d'alimentation en eau non
potable. Des prescriptions générales pour les garnitures d'étanchéité finies sont également indiquées. Toute prescription supplémentaire imposée par une application particuliere est spécifiée dans les normes de produit appropriées en tenant compte du fait que le comportement des joints de canalisations dépend des propriétés du matériau de la garniture d'étanchéité, de la géométrie de celle-ci et de la conception du joint. Cette norme s'applique aux garnitures d'étanchéité de joints pour tous les matériaux de canalisations, tels que le fer, l'acier, l'argile, le fibro-ciment, le béton, les plastiques et les plastiques armés aux fibres de verre.
