Household refrigerating appliances - Refrigerators with or without low-temperature compartment - Characteristics and test methods (ISO 7371:1995)

It specifies manufacturing tolerances for extension and compensating cables (other than mineral insulated cables) provided directly to users of industrial processes. These tolerances are determined with respect to the e.m.f.-temperature relationship of Part 1 of the standard. Furthermore, requirements for extension and compensating cables for use in industrial process control are specified.
The main technical changes with regard to the previous edition are as follows: Addition of Subclause 5.4 Connectors. Addition of Clauses 7 Dimensions and 8 Requirements.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide
federation of national Standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work
of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Esch member body interested in a subject for
which a technical committee has been established has the right to be
represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental
and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO
collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission
(1 EC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are
circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International
Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting
a vote.
International Standard ISO 7371 was prepared by Technical Committee
lSO/TC 86, ßefrigeration, Subcommittee SC 5, Construction and testing
of household refrigerators.
This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition
(ISO 7371:1985), which has been technically revised.
Annexes A and B of this International Standard are for information only.
