Rotating electrical machines - Part 8: Terminal markings and direction of rotation (IEC 60034-8:2007/A1:2014)

This part of IEC 60034 applies to a.c. and d.c. machines and specifies
a) rules for the identification of winding connection points;
b) marking of winding terminals;
c) direction of rotation;
d) relationship between terminal markings and direction of rotation;
e) terminal marking of auxiliary devices;
f) connection diagrams of machines for common applications.
Turbine-type synchronous machines are excluded from this standard.

Ta del standarda IEC 60034 se uporablja za stroje na izmenični in enosmerni tok ter določa:
a) predpise za identifikacijo priključkov navitja;
b) oznake priključkov koncev navitja;
c) smer rotacije;
d) razmerje med oznakami priključkov koncev in smerjo rotacije;
e) oznake priključkov koncev pomožnih naprav;
f) vezalne sheme strojev za splošno uporabo.
Sinhroni stroji v obliki turbin v tem standardu niso vključeni.

This amendment A1 modifies the European Standard EN 60034-8:2007; it was approved by CENELEC on 2014-04-24. CENELEC
members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the
status of a national standard without any alteration.
Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on application to the CEN-CENELEC
Management Centre or to any CENELEC member.
This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language made by translation under the
responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre has the same status as
the official versions.
