This document provides product category rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of reinforced bitumen, plastic and rubber flexible sheets for which the intended use is roof waterproofing.
NOTE   The reference product standards are EN 13707 and EN 13956.
This document is intended to be used for the development and issue of a cradle to gate with options, modules C1-C4 and module D EPD using specific data. This document includes requirements and rules to:
-   define the indicators to be declared and the way in which they are collected and reported;
-   describe which stages of a product’s life cycle are considered in the EPD and which processes are to be included in the life cycle stages;
-   include the rules for calculating the life cycle inventory (LCI) and the life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) underlying an EPD, including the specification of the quality of the applied data.

Dieses Dokument stellt Produktkategorieregeln (PCR, en: Product Category Rules) zur Bewertung der umweltbezogenen Leistung von Bitumenbahnen mit Trägereinlage sowie Kunststoff- und Elastomerbahnen bereit, deren bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung die Dachabdichtung ist.
ANMERKUNG   Bei den Referenz-Produktnormen handelt es sich um EN 13707 und EN 13956.
Dieses Dokument ist für die Entwicklung und Ausstellung einer vollständigen EPD "von der Wiege bis zum Werktor mit Optionen, Module C1 C4 und Modul D" unter Anwendung von spezifischen Daten vorgesehen. Dieses Dokument enthält Anforderungen und Regeln zur
-   Festlegung der zu deklarierenden Indikatoren und der Art, in der sie erfasst und angegeben werden,
-   Beschreibung, welche Phasen des Lebenszyklus eines Produkts in der EPD berücksichtigt werden und welche Prozesse in die Lebenszyklusphasen einzubeziehen sind und
-   Einbeziehung der Regeln zur Berechnung der Sachbilanz und Wirkungsabschätzung, die einer EPD zugrunde liegen und die Spezifikation der Qualität der angewandten Daten einschließen.

Le présent document fournit des règles de catégories de produits (RCP) pour l’évaluation de la performance environnementale des feuilles souples bitumineuses armées, plastiques et élastomères destinées à être utilisées pour l’étanchéité de toiture.
NOTE   Les normes de produits de référence sont l’EN 13707 et l’EN 13956.
Le présent document est destiné à servir à l’élaboration et la publication d’une DEP du berceau à la sortie de l’usine avec options, modules C1-C4 et module D, en utilisant des données spécifiques. Ce document inclut des exigences et règles qui :
-   définissent les indicateurs à déclarer et la manière dont ils sont recueillis et consignés ;
-   décrivent les étapes du cycle de vie d’un produit prises en compte dans la DEP ainsi que les processus à inclure dans les étapes du cycle de vie ;
-   intègrent les règles de calcul de l’inventaire du cycle de vie (ICV) et de l’évaluation de l’impact du cycle de vie (EICV) servant de base à la DEP, y compris la spécification de la qualité des données appliquées.

Introduction
CEN TC 254 has decided to provide this European Standard in 2 parts. The scope of these different parts
is based on the different types of environmental product declarations (EPD) identified by
EN 15804:2012+A2:2019. This will avoid misinterpretation in the market about the EPD scope and
content.
NOTE 1 The clauses and subclauses, with the exception of the annexes, are corresponding with the clauses and
subclauses of EN 15804:2012+A2:2019.

1 Scope
This document provides product category rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental

5.1 Objective of the PCR
As in EN 15804:2012+A2:2019, in addition:
This document defines the requirements on information, data and environmental indicators that shall be
included in an environmental product declaration (EPD) for a cradle to gate with options, modules C1-C4
and module D EPD using specific data for:
— roof waterproofing systems with reinforced bitumen flexible sheets for roof waterproofing according
to EN 13707;
or
— roof waterproofing systems with plastic and rubber flexible sheets for roof waterproofing according
to EN 13956.
