Testing fresh concrete - Part 1: Sampling
This European Standard specifies two procedures for sampling fresh concrete, by composite sampling and by spot sampling.
NOTE The requirement for remixing the sample before tests on the fresh concrete, or before making test specimens, is included in the relevant standards.
When mixing and sampling of concrete is done in a laboratory, different procedures may be required.

Diese Europäische Norm legt zwei Verfahren für die Probenahme von Frischbeton, und zwar die Entnahme einer Sammelprobe und die Entnahme einer Stichprobe fest.
ANMERKUNG Die Anforderung an das Durchmischen der Probe vor der Prüfung des Frischbetons oder vor der Probekörperherstellung ist in den entsprechenden Normen enthalten.
Wenn das Mischen und die Probenahme in einem Laboratorium durchgeführt werden, können abweichende Verfahren erforderlich sein.

La présente norme européenne spécifie deux méthodes de prélèvement du béton frais : l’échantillonnage
global et l’échantillonnage ponctuel.
NOTE L’exigence de réhomogénéisation de l’échantillon avant les essais sur le béton frais, ou avant de
confectionner des éprouvettes d’essai, est incluse dans les normes concernées.
Lorsque la fabrication et les prélèvements du béton sont réalisés en laboratoire, des modes opératoires
différents peuvent être requis.

EN 12350-1:2009 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 12350-1:2009 has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 104 “Concrete and related products”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2009, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by September 2009. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 12350-1:1999. This standard is one of a series concerned with testing concrete. This series EN 12350 includes the following parts:

CAUTION — When cement is mixed with water, alkali is released. Take precautions to avoid dry cement entering the eyes, mouth and nose whilst mixing concrete. Prevent skin contact with wet cement or concrete by wearing suitable protective clothing. If cement or concrete enters the eye, immediately wash it out thoroughly with clean water and seek medical treatment without delay. Wash wet concrete off the skin immediately. SIST EN 12350-1:2009

EN 12350-1:2009 (D) Vorwort Dieses Dokument (EN 12350-1:2009) wurde vom Technischen Komitee CEN/TC 104 „Beton und zugehörige Produkte“ erarbeitet, dessen Sekretariat vom DIN gehalten wird. Diese Europäische Norm muss den Status einer nationalen Norm erhalten, entweder durch Veröffentlichung eines identischen Textes oder durch Anerkennung bis September 2009 und etwaige entgegenstehende nationale Normen müssen bis September 2009 zurückgezogen werden. Es wird auf die Möglichkeit hingewiesen, dass einige Texte dieses Dokuments Patentrechte berühren können. Es sind Vorsichts-maßnahmen zu ergreifen, um zu verhindern, dass beim Mischen von Beton trockener Zement in Augen, Mund und Nase gelangt. Der Hautkontakt mit feuchtem Zement oder Beton ist durch das Tragen geeigneter Schutzkleidung zu vermeiden. Wenn Zement oder Beton in die Augen gelangt ist, sind diese sofort mit sauberem Wasser sorgfältig auszuwaschen und unverzüglich medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch zu nehmen.
