Bituminous mixtures - Test methods for hot mix asphalt - Part 36: Determination of the thickness of a bituminous pavement

Both methods can be used for the determination of the thickness of a bituminous paving construction. When compliance is to be established, the method to be used and -if relevant- the position of the cores in the slab should be agreed in advance by the relevant parties.

Beide Verfahren können zur Messung der Dicke einer Asphaltkonstruktion angewendet werden. Wenn Übereinstimmung erforderlich ist, sind das zu verwendende Verfahren und ggf- die Entnahmestellen der Bohrkerne zwischen den Vertragsparteien zu vereinbaren.

La présente Norme européenne précise les exigences concernant les mesures sur les bogies a deux essieux, qui assurent que les opérations de mesure sont effectuées en fonction de criteres unifiés. Elle est applicable aux bogies a deux essieux neufs ou modifiés.
Les prescriptions allant au-dela du domaine d'application et de ses exigences font l'objet d'un contrat particulier entre les parties concernées.
Les opérations de mesure se rapportent a des bogies, dans leur totalité avec ou sans superstructure ou a certaines parties de ceux-ci lorsque leur conception géométrique ne permet pas de faire autrement. Il y a lieu, le cas échéant, de procéder a des opérations de mesure supplémentaires, non prévues ici, qui sont déterminées au cas par cas.

This document (EN 12697-36:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 227 "Road materials",
the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or
