Aerospace series - Paints and varnishes - Cold curing intermediate coat

This standard specifies the requirements for a two component polyurethane, topcoat, with a medium degree of resistance to erosion by the effects of rain, available in a range of colours and levels of gloss, to be applied over a primer for aerospace applications on areas where rain erosion at subsonic speeds may be a problem, e.g. leading edges and air intakes.
The properties specified in this standard are obtained on defined aluminium alloy test pieces prepared in accordance with EN 3837 Procedure A and ISO 3270 and painted with primer to EN 2435-001 and -002. The ability of the material to be used for a specific application (e.g. alternative substrate, alternative primer, specific drying conditions, etc.) should be determined by supplementary tests to confirm that the requirements of this standard are met.

Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen an eine Zweikomponenten-Polyurethan-Deckbeschichtung mit mittlerer Beständigkeit gegenüber regenbedingter Erosion fest, die es mit einer großen Auswahl an Farben und Glanzstufen gibt und die in Luft- und Raumfahrt in Bereichen, in denen Regenerosion bei Unterschallgeschwindigkeiten ein Problem darstellen kann, wie beispielsweise am Keilwinkel oder an Lufteintritten, auf einen Primer aufgebracht wird.
Die in dieser Norm festgelegten Kennzahlen ergeben sich an definierten Aluminiumlegierungs-Probenkörpern, die nach EN 3837, Verfahren A, und EN 23270 vorbereitet und mit einem Primer nach EN 2435 001 beschichtet werden. Die Tauglichkeit eines Beschichtungsstoffes für eine spezifische Anwendung (z. B. alternativer Untergrund, alternativer Primer, spezifische Trocknungsbedingungen usw.) muss durch zusätzliche Prüfungen festgelegt werden, die bestätigen, dass die Anforderungen dieser Norm erfüllt sind.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux couches de finition en polyuréthane à deux composants, avec un degré de résistance moyen à l’érosion due aux effets de la pluie, disponibles dans une gamme de couleurs et de niveaux de brillant, à appliquer sur une couche primaire pour les applications aérospatiales dans des zones où l’érosion due à la pluie à des vitesses subsoniques peut être source de problème, par exemple, bords de fuites et entrées d’air.

Ta standard določa zahteve za dvokomponentne poliuretane, pokrivne premaze s srednjo stopnjo odpornosti proti eroziji zaradi dežja, na voljo v različnih barvah in stopnjah sijaja, nanesene prek temeljni premaz za uporabo v aeronavtiki na površinah, kjer lahko erozija zaradi dežja pri podzvočni hitrosti povzroči problem, npr. na zgornjih robovih in zračnih dovodih.
Lastnosti, določene v tem standardu, so pridobljene na definiranih preskusnih kosih aluminijeve zlitine, pripravljenih v skladu z EN 3837, postopek A in ISO 3270 ter premazane s temeljnim premazom iz EN 2435-001 in -002.
