Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an Glasfasern zur Bewehrung von Zementmörtel und Beton fest. Es gilt für Endlosglasfasern in Form von Rovings, Spinnfäden (sog. Strands) sowie für Kurzfasern (sog. Chopped Strands) und ähnliche Produkte wie z.B. Netze oder Matten aus diesen Produkten.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux fibres de verre utilisées pour le renforcement des ciments et du béton. Elle s’applique aux produits en fibres de verre a base de filaments continus, sous forme de fils continu, de fils  ou de fils coupés et aux produits assimilés tels que les filets ou les mats fabriqués a partir de ces produits.

This document (EN 15422:2008) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 229 “Precast concrete
products”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2008, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by September 2008.
