Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures - Test methods - Determination of workability - Part 2: Test for flow of grout or mortar

This European Standard specifies a method for determining the workability (or consistence) of flowing-grade hydraulic cement mortars CC, polymer modified hydraulic cement mortars PCC and polymer bound mortars PC for the protection and repair of concrete, as defined in EN 1504-1.
The method is suitable for high flow grouts or mortars that have a maximum aggregate size of 4 mm.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Verarbeitbarkeit von HC-, PCC- und PC-Produkten und Systemen für die Instandsetzung und den Schutz von Beton nach EN 1504-3. Für thixotrope Mörtel gilt das in EN 104-845-1 angegebene Verfahren. Für Beton mit hoher Verarbeitbarkeit gilt das in EN 104-845-3 angegebene Verfahren.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode permettant de déterminer l'ouvrabilité (ou la consistance) des mortiers appliqués a la truelle, a base de ciment hydraulique CC, de ciment hydraulique modifié polymere PCC et de liants polymeres PC, et destinés a la protection et la réparation du béton, tels que définis dans l'EN 1504-1.
La méthode est adaptée aux coulis et mortiers a haute fluidité dont la classe de granulat maximale est de 4 mm.

Foreword
This document EN 13395-2:2002 has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 104 "Concrete and related
products", the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or
by endorsement, at the latest by November 2002, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest
by December 2002.
This European Standard is one of a series dealing with products and systems for the protection and repair of
concrete structures. It describes a method for determining the flow characteristics of repair grouts and mortars.
It is one of a series of inter-related parts dealing with the workability of repair grouts, mortars and concretes. The
other parts are:
