IEC 60269-2:2013 provides supplementary requirements for fuses for use by authorized persons and are generally designed to be used in installations where the fuse-links are accessible to, and may be replaced by, authorized persons only. Fuses for use by authorized persons according to the following fuse systems also comply with the requirements of the corresponding subclauses of IEC 60269-1, unless otherwise defined in this standard. This standard is divided into fuse systems, each dealing with a specific example of standardized fuses for use by authorized persons: - Fuse system A: Fuses with fuse-links with blade contacts (NH fuse system), - Fuse system B: Fuses with striker fuse-links with blade contacts (NH fuse system), - Fuse system C: Fuse-rails (NH fuse system), - Fuse system D: Fuse-bases for busbar mounting (NH fuse system), - Fuse system E: Fuses with fuse-links for bolted connections (BS bolted fuse system), - Fuse system F: Fuses with fuse-links having cylindrical contact caps (NF cylindrical fuse system), - Fuse system G: Fuses with fuse-links with offset blade contacts (BS clip-in fuse system), - Fuse system H: Fuses with fuse-links having 'gD' and 'gN' characteristic (class J and class time delay and non time delay fuse types), - Fuse system I: gU fuse-links with wedge tightening contacts, - Fuse system J: Fuses with fuse-links having 'gD class CC' and 'gN class CC' characteristics (class CC time delay and non-time delay fuse types), - Fuse system K: gK fuse-links with blade for bolted connections - High fuse-link ratings from 1 250 A up to 4 800 A (master fuse-links). This fifth edition of IEC 60269-2 cancels and replaces the fourth edition published in 2010. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: 1. fuse systems A and B: modified values for the power dissipation of NH aM fuse-links; 2. fuse systems A and B: introduction of dimension r for NH fuse-links; 3. addition of new fuse system K: gK fuse-links with contacts for bolted connections. La CEI 60269-2:2013 fournit des exigences supplémentaires pour les fusibles destinés à être utilisés par des personnes habilitées et sont généralement conçus pour usage dans des installations où les éléments de remplacement ne sont accessibles qu'à des personnes habilitées, et ne peuvent être remplacés que par elles. Sauf indication contraire dans cette norme, les fusibles destinés à être utilisés par des personnes habilitées et correspondant aux systèmes de fusibles suivant satisfont également aux exigences des paragraphes correspondants de la CEI 60269-1. La présente norme est divisée en systèmes de fusibles traitant chacun d'un exemple spécifique de fusibles normalisés destinés à être utilisés par des personnes habilitées: - Système de fusibles A: Fusibles avec éléments de remplacement à couteaux (système de fusibles NH), - Système de fusibles B: Fusibles avec éléments de remplacement à couteaux avec percuteur (système de fusibles NH), - Système de fusibles C: Réglettes à fusible (système de fusibles NH), - Système de fusibles D: Socles pour montage sur jeu de barres (système de fusibles NH), - Système de fusibles E: Fusibles avec éléments de remplacement à platines (système de fusibles à platines BS), - Système de fusibles F: Fusibles avec éléments de remplacement à capsules cylindriques (système de fusibles cylindriques NF), - Système de fusibles G: Fusibles avec éléments de remplacement à couteaux déportés (système de fusibles à pattes d'attache BS), - Système de fusibles H: Fusibles dont les éléments de remplacement ont des caractéristiques 'gD' et 'gN' (types de fusibles temporisés ou non temporisés de classe J et de classe L), - Système de fusibles I: Eléments de remplacement gU à contacts de serrage à encoche, - Système de fusibles J: Fusibles dont les éléments de remplacement ont des caractéristiques 'gD de classe CC' et 'gN de classe CC' (types de fusibles temporisés et non temporisés de classe CC), - Système de fusibles K: Eléments de remplacement gK à couteaux pour raccordement boulonnés - Eléments de remplacement de courants assignés élevés de 1250 A à 4 800 A (master fusibles). Cette cinquième édition de la CEI 60269-2 annule et remplace la quatrième édition parue en 2010. Cette édition constitue une révision technique. Cette édition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport à l'édition précédente: 1. systèmes de fusibles A et B: modification des valeurs de puissance dissipée des éléments de remplacement des NH aM; 2. systèmes de fusibles A et B: introduction des dimensions r des éléments de remplacement NH; 3. ajout d'un nouveau système de fusibles K: éléments de remplacement gK à couteaux pour raccordement boulonné. The following dates are fixed:
• latest date by which the document has to be implemented at national (dop) 2023-05-11
level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement
• latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the (dow) 2025-11-11
document have to be withdrawn
