District cooling pipes - Factory made flexible pipe systems - Part 2: Bonded system with plastic service pipes - Requirements and test methods

This document specifies requirements and test methods for factory made thermally insulated bonded flexible pipe-in-pipe assemblies for directly buried district cooling distribution systems, comprising a service pipe from DN 15 to DN 200 and a casing of polyethylene. The pipe assembly may also include the following additional elements: measuring wires, spacers and diffusion barriers.
This document is intended to be used in conjunction with prEN 17414-1 ).
This document applies only to insulated pipe assemblies, for continuous operation with water at various temperatures (1 to 30) °C and a maximum operation pressure of 25 bar dependent on material specified.
The design is based on an expected service life with continuous operation of a minimum 50 years.
This document does not cover surveillance systems.
NOTE   For the transport of other liquids, for example potable water, additional requirements may be applicable.

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für werkmäßig hergestellte flexible Verbund-Rohr-in-Rohr-Systeme für direkt erdverlegte Fernkühlungsverteilungssysteme fest, bestehend aus einem Mediumrohr von DN 15 bis DN 200 und einer Ummantelung aus Polyethylen. Das Rohrsystem darf darüber hinaus die folgenden zusätzlichen Bauteile umfassen: Messdrähte, Abstandhalter und Diffusionsbarrieren.
Dieses Dokument ist für die Verwendung im Zusammenhang mit prEN 17414 1 vorgesehen.
Dieses Dokument gilt nur für gedämmte Rohrsysteme, für den Dauerbetrieb mit Wasser bei verschiedenen Temperaturen (1 bis 30) °C und einem höchsten Betriebsdruck von 25 bar je nach Werkstoff.

Le présent document spécifie les prescriptions et les méthodes d’essai relatives aux tuyaux flexibles bloqués manufacturés isolés thermiquement pour réseaux d’eau glacée directement enterrés, comprenant un tube de service d’un diamètre allant de DN 15 à DN 200 et un tube de protection en polyéthylène. Le système de tuyauterie peut également inclure les éléments suivants : fils de mesure, entretoises et barrières de diffusion.
Le présent document est prévu pour être utilisé conjointement avec le prEN 17414-1 ).
Le présent document s’applique uniquement aux systèmes de tuyauterie conçus pour un fonctionnement continu avec de l’eau à diverses températures (allant de 1 °C à 30 °C) et à une pression de service maximale de 25 bar dépendant du matériau spécifié.
La conception repose sur une durée de vie prévue de 50 ans au minimum en fonctionnement continu.

Introduction
Factory made flexible bonded pipe systems with plastic service pipes for directly buried district cooling
networks are of common technical usage. In order to ensure quality including product-related service
life, to ensure safety in use, economical energy usage and to facilitate comparability in the market,
CEN/TC 107 decided to set up standards for these products.
This document is one of a series of standards which form several parts of EN 17414, District cooling
pipes – Factory made flexible pipe systems:
— Part 1: Classification, general requirements and test methods;

1 Scope
This document specifies requirements and test methods for factory made thermally insulated bonded
flexible pipe-in-pipe assemblies for directly buried district cooling distribution systems, comprising a
service pipe and a casing of polyethylene. The pipe assembly can also include the following additional
