This European Standard specifies an analytical method for the determination of aluminium and iron and zinc alloys by atomic absorption spectrometry. It is applicable to the products specified in EN 1179, prEN 1774 and prEN ...(0020907)It is suitable for the determination of iron content between 0,001 % and 0,1 % and aluminium between 0,001 % and 0,5 %. NOTE: prEN 00209021 specifies a method for determination of aluminium content greater than 0,5 %.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Analyseverfahren zur Bestimmung von Aluminium und Eisen in Zink und Zinklegierungen mittels Atomabsorptionsspektrometrie fest.Das Verfahren ist auf die prEN 1179, prEN 1774 und prEN ...(0020907) festgelegten Produkte anwendbar. Es ist zur Bestimmung eines Eisengehaltes zwischen 0,001 % und 0,1 % und eines Aluminiumgehaltes zwischen 0,001 % und 0,5 % geeignet. ANMERKUNG: prEN 00209021 legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Aluminiumgehaltes fest, wenn dieser 0,5 % überschreitet.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode par spectrométrie d'absorption atomique dans la flamme pour le dosage de l'aluminium et du fer dans le zinc et les alliages de zinc. Elle s'applique aux produits spécifiés dans l'EN 988, l'EN 1179, l'EN 1774, l'EN 12844 et l'EN 13283.
Cette méthode convient pour la détermination des teneurs (fractions massiques) du fer comprises entre 0,001 % et 0,5 % et des teneurs (fractions massiques) de l'aluminium comprises entre 0,000 5 % et 0,5 %.
NOTE   L'EN 12441-1 spécifie une méthode de dosage de l'aluminium a des teneurs (fractions massiques) comprises entre 3 % et 30 %.
