This European Standard describes the procedure for the determination of free calcium oxide content in fly ash.
The standard describes the reference procedure. If other methods are used it shall be shown that they give results equivalent to those obtained by the reference method.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt das Verfahren zur Bestimmung des freien Calciumoxidgehalts in Flugasche.
Die Norm beschreibt das Referenzverfahren. Wenn andere Verfahren verwendet werden, ist nachzuweisen, dass die mit diesen Verfahren erzielten Ergebnisse denjenigen des Referenzverfahrens entsprechen.

La présente Norme européenne décrit le mode opératoire qui permet de déterminer la teneur en oxyde de calcium libre contenu dans les cendres volantes.
Elle décrit la méthode de référence. Si d'autres méthodes sont utilisées, la preuve doit etre apportée qu'elles donnent des résultats équivalents a ceux obtenus par la méthode de référence.
