Rubber and plastics hoses - Assessment of ozone resistance under static conditions (ISO 7326:2006)

This International Standard specifies five methods for determining the ozone resistance of the outer covers of hoses: - method 1, for bore sizes up to and including 25 mm, carried out on the hose itself; - method 2, for bore sizes greater than 25 mm, carried out on a test piece from the hose wall; - method 3, for bore sizes greater than 25 mm, carried out on a test piece from the cover; - method 4, for all bore sizes, carried out on the hose itself; - method 5, for all bore sizes, carried out on hoses that are expandable, for example textile-reinforced hoses.

   Verfahren 1, für Innendurchmesser bis zu und bis einschließlich 25 mm, das am Schlauch selbst ausgeführt wird;
   Verfahren 2, für Innendurchmesser größer als 25 mm, durchgeführt an einem Prüfkörper aus der Schlauchwand;
   Verfahren 3, für Innendurchmesser größer als 25 mm, durchgeführt an einem Prüfkörper aus der Außenschicht;
   Verfahren 4, für alle Innendurchmesser, das am Schlauch selbst ausgeführt wird;

méthode 1, pour des dimensions d'alésage inférieures ou égales à 25 mm, réalisée sur le tuyau lui-même;
méthode 2, pour des dimensions d'alésage supérieures à 25 mm, réalisée sur une éprouvette prélevée dans la paroi du tuyau;
méthode 3, pour des dimensions d'alésage supérieures à 25 mm, réalisée sur une éprouvette prélevée dans le revêtement du tuyau;
méthode 4, pour toutes les dimensions d'alésage, réalisée sur le tuyau lui-même;

ISO 7326:2006(E)
Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been
established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and
non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.
The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards
adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an
International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
