EN 13045:2022 is the CEN European standard that specifies the dimensions and tolerances for flexible cylindrical plastic tubes used in packaging. Approved July 2022 and superseding EN 13045:2009, this document defines nominal diameter, length, wall (sleeve) thickness and shoulder geometry for tubes used to pack pharmaceutical, cosmetic, hygiene, food and other domestic and industrial products. It is intended for tube types made from common polyethylenes and similar materials, with or without barrier layers.
