Pedestal W.C. pans with close-coupled flushing cistern - Connecting dimensions

This standard specifies the connecting dimensions of pedestral W.C. pans with close-coupled flushing cistern having an exposed outlet on the horizontal of vertical axis or a concealed outlet, regardless of the materials used for their manufacture. This standard does not apply to siphonic action W.C pans.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les caractéristiques de raccordement des cuvettes de W.C. sur pied, a chasse directe, a réservoir attenant, a sortie apparente d'axe horizontal ou vertical ou a sortie cachée, quels que soient les matériaux entrant dans leur fabrication.
Elle n'a pas trait aux cuvettes a aspiration siphonique.
NOTE   Seules les dimensions des parties cotées doivent etre respectées. La forme schématique des appareils représentée dans les figures par des traits fins est donnée pour faciliter la compréhension ; elle ne préjuge en rien de la forme définitive de l'appareil qui est laissée a l'initiative des fabricants.

This document (EN 33:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 163, "Sanitary appliances", the
secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or
by endorsement, at the latest by October 2003, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest
by October 2003.
This document supersedes EN 33:1998.
This revised version considers new market trends and compared to the version of November 1998 includes the
following amendments: Dimension q is changed.
