This European Standard specifies the characteristics of UV laser printable DR family, single and multicore
screened (spiral) and jacketed electrical lightweight cables for use in the on-board electrical systems of
aircraft, at operating temperatures between − 55 °C and 260 °C. Nevertheless, if needed, − 65 °C is also
acceptable as shown by cold test.
It shall also be possible to mark these cables by qualified compatible marking.
These markings shall satisfy the requirements of EN 3838.

Ta evropski standard določa lastnosti ovitih, oklopljenih (opletenih) in oplaščenih lahkih električnih kablov družine DR z možnostjo UV-laserskega tiskanja za uporabo v električnih sistemih na krovu letala pri delovnih temperaturah med –55 °C in 260 °C. Kljub temu je po potrebi sprejemljiva tudi temperatura –65 °C, kot prikazuje hladni preskus.
Te kable je mogoče označiti s kvalificirano združljivo oznako.
Te oznake morajo biti v skladu z zahtevami standarda EN 3838.

EN 2714-013:2017 (E) 4 1 Scope This European Standard specifies the characteristics of UV laser printable DR family, single and multicore screened (spiral) and jacketed electrical lightweight cables for use in the on-board electrical systems of aircraft, at operating temperatures between − 55 °C and 260 °C.
