Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Längsschrumpfes von Rohren aus Thermoplasten fest, deren Durchführung im Flüssigkeitsbad oder in Luft erfolgt. Im Schiedsfall wird das Verfahren im Flüssigkeitsbad als Referenzverfahren angewendet.
Diese Internationale Norm gilt für alle Rohre aus Thermoplasten mit glatten Innen- und Außenwänden mit konstantem Querschnitt. Sie gilt nicht für raue Rohre aus Thermoplasten mit strukturierten Wänden.
Die für den Rohrwerkstoff geeigneten Parameter sowie Empfehlungen für die maximalen Werte des Schrumpfes als Funktion des Rohrwerkstoffes sind in Anhang A angegeben.
Dieses Verfahren gilt für Rohre mit einer Wanddicke ≤ 16 mm.

revised.The main changes compared to the previous edition are as follows:
— the following materials with test requirements have been added: PE 100-RC, PB-H, PB-R, PE-RT, PP-
RCT and PE-UHMW— small diameter pipes from coils shall be straightened prior to testing
