This European Standard gives guidelines for the characterisation of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) recyclates.
It gives the most important characteristics and associated test methods for assessing PET recyclates intended to be used for the production of semi-finished/finished products. It is intended for use by the supplier and purchaser of such materials, to assist them in agreeing on specifications.
This European Standard is applicable without prejudice to any existing legislation.

Diese Europäische Norm gibt Anleitungen zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von Polyethylenterephthalat¬(PET) Rezyklaten.
Die Europäische Norm nennt die wichtigsten Eigenschaften und führt die dazugehörigen Prüfverfahren für die Bewertung von PET Rezyklaten auf, die für die Produktion von Halbzeugen/Fertigprodukten vorgesehen sind. Sie ist für die Anwendung durch Lieferant und Käufer derartiger Materialien vorgesehen, um ihnen bei der Erzielung einer Einigung zu Spezifikationen Unterstützung zu geben.
Diese Europäische Norm beeinträchtigt bei ihrer Anwendung keinerlei geltende Vorschriften.

La présente Norme Européenne donne des lignes directrices pour la caractérisation des recyclats de poly(éthylène téréphtalate) (PET).
Elle donne les caractéristiques les plus importantes et les méthodes d'essai associées pour évaluer les recyclats de PET destinés à être utilisés dans la production de produits semi-finis/finis. Elle est destinée à être utilisée par le fournisseur et le client de telles matières et les assister pour convenir de spécifications concernant des applications spécifiques et génériques.
La présente Norme européenne est applicable sans préjudice de toute réglementation existante.

Navaja najpomembnejše značilnosti in povezane preskusne metode za ocenjevanje reciklatov polietilen-tereftalata za uporabo pri proizvodnji polizdelkov/končnih izdelkov. Namenjen je kot podpora dobaviteljem in kupcem takih materialov pri dogovarjanju glede specifikacij.
Ta evropski standard ne posega v nobeno obstoječo zakonodajo.
