EN 15457 specifies a laboratory test method for determining the biocidal/biostatic efficacy of single active substances or combinations thereof used in film preservatives in a coating against fungal growth. This standard does not apply to coatings not susceptible to fungal growth. The test method comprises only active substances for film preservation, not the protection of the substrate itself, e.g. wood, which is dealt with in another standard. The test method is applicable for active substances used for wood and masonry coatings. It is not applicable to marine coatings. Safety, health and environmental aspects are not in the scope of this standard. Determination of the performance of film preservatives in coatings by applying ageing procedures is not within the scope of this standard.
Beschichtungsstoffe - Laborverfahren für die Prüfung der Wirksamkeit von Filmkonservierungsmitteln in einer Beschichtung gegen Pilze
Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Laborverfahren zum Bestimmen der bioziden/biostatischen Wirksamkeit von Wirkstoffen oder einer Kombination aus mehreren Wirkstoffen zur Anwendung in Filmkonservierungsmitteln in einer Beschichtung gegen Pilzbewuchs fest. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Beschichtungen, die unempfindlich gegen Pilzbewuchs sind. Das Prüfverfahren umfasst nur die Wirkstoffe zur Filmkonservierung der Beschichtung, nicht solche für den Schutz des Substrats, z. B. Holz. Diese werden in einer anderen Norm behandelt. Das Prüfverfahren ist anwendbar für Wirkstoffe, verwendet in Beschichtungen für Holz und mineralische Substrate. Die Norm gilt nicht für Beschichtungen im maritimen Bereich.
Sicherheit, Gesundheit und Umweltaspekte liegen nicht im Anwendungsbereich dieser Norm.
Die Bestimmung der Wirksamkeit von Filmkonservierungsmitteln in einer Beschichtung nach Anwendung von Alterungsverfahren liegt nicht im Anwendungsbereich dieser Norm.
Peinture et vernis - Méthode de laboratoire permettant de vérifier l'efficacité des agents de conservation du feuil d'un revêtement contre les champignons
La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode d’essai en laboratoire permettant de déterminer l’efficacité biocide/biostatique de substances actives individuelles, ou de combinaisons de ces substances, utilisées dans les préservateurs du feuil d’un revêtement contre le développement fongique. Cette norme ne s’applique pas aux revêtements qui ne sont pas sensibles au développement fongique. Cette méthode d’essai concerne uniquement les substances actives utilisées pour la protection du feuil et non pas la protection du substrat lui-même, par exemple le bois, laquelle fait l’objet d’une autre norme. Cette méthode d’essai est applicable aux substances actives utilisées dans les peintures pour bois et pour maçonnerie. Elle ne s’applique pas aux peintures marines.
Les aspects de sécurité et de santé, ainsi que les aspects environnementaux ne relèvent pas du domaine d’application de la présente norme.
La détermination des performances des préservateurs du feuil de revêtements par des méthodes de vieillissement ne relève pas du domaine d'application de la présente norme.
Barve in laki - Laboratorijske metode za preskušanje učinkovitosti konzervansov filma v premazih proti glivam
Standard EN 15457 določa laboratorijsko preskusno metodo za določanje biocidne/biostatične učinkovitosti posamezne aktivne snovi ali kombinacij aktivnih snovi, ki se uporabljajo v premazih proti glivam. Standard ne velja za premaze, ki niso občutljivi na glive. Preskusna metoda vključuje samo aktivne snovi za ohranjanje filma in ne za zaščito same podlage, npr. lesa, ki ga obravnava drug standard. Preskusna metoda velja za aktivne snovi, ki se uporabljajo za lesne in zidne premaze. Ne velja za ladijske premaze. V področje uporabe tega standarda niso vključeni vidiki varnosti, zdravja in varstva okolja. Določanje učinkovitosti konzervansov filma v premazih z izvajanjem postopkov staranja ni vključeno v področje uporabe tega standarda.

EN 15457:2014 (E) 4 Introduction This document identifies criteria to assess efficacy of film preservatives in a coating against fungi. The results of the method allow evaluation of an active substance with regard to its inclusion in Annex I of the Biocidal Products Directive 98/8/EC (Directive 98/8/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 February 1998 concerning the placing of biocidal products on the market – BPD) or in the list of the Biocidal Product Regulation (BPR, Regulation (EU) 528/2012). The characteristics of the biocide treated coating material should conform to national regulations with regard to health, safety and the environment. SIST EN 15457:2014
