This European Standard specifies the connecting dimensions of pedestal and wall-hung bidets with over-rim supply (further on: bidets) in accordance with EN 14528 regardless of materials used for their manufacture.
NOTE 1 Other connecting dimensions are permitted, e. g. special designs of bidets, if the manufacturer supplies or recommends the appropriate fitting.
NOTE 2 The shape of the appliance in the figures is for illustration only; it in no way prejudices the final shape of the appliance, which is left to the initiative of the manufacturer.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anschlussmaße für bodenstehende und wandhängende Sitzwaschbecken mit Zulauf von oben (im Weiteren: Sitzwaschbecken) nach EN 14528, unabhängig vom für ihre Herstellung verwendeten Werkstoff, fest.
ANMERKUNG 1 Andere Anschlussmaße sind zulässig, z. B. für spezielle Ausführungen von Sitzwaschbecken, wenn der Hersteller eine geeignete Ablaufgarnitur mitliefert oder empfiehlt.

La présente norme fixe les cotes de raccordement des bidets sur pied et des bidets suspendus à alimentation
par surverse (désignés ci-après : bidets) conformément à l'EN 14528, indépendamment du matériau dont ils
sont constitués.
NOTE 1 D'autres cotes de raccordement sont autorisées, par exemple pour les bidets de conception particulière, si le
