ASTM F1141/F1141M-15
(Specification)Standard Specification for Wall Coverings
Standard Specification for Wall Coverings
ABSTRACT
This specification covers the performance, quality, packaging, and marking requirements for flexible wall coverings as a finished product. Also included here are wall preparation and covering installation procedures. The manufacturers shall be responsible for thorough testing and inspection under representative field conditions prior to introduction of new finished products on the market.
SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers the performance, quality, packaging, and marking characteristics of flexible wall coverings as finished products.
1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system are not necessarily exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems has the potential to result in non-conformance with the standard.
