Curtain walling - Determination of the strength of sheared connections - Test method and requirements

This European Standard specifies the test method to determine the bearing capacity connections between framing members of curtain walling for which the bearing capacity cannot be calculated in accordance with current codes or conventional calculations based upon the strength of the materials.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Tragfähigkeit (Grenzzustand der Tragfähigkeit und Grenzzustand der Gebrauchstauglichkeit) der Verbindungen zwischen den Rahmenprofilen der Vorhangfassade fest, die nicht nach geltenden Codes oder herkömmlichen Berechnungen, die auf der Festigkeit der Werkstoffe basieren, berechnet werden können.
Die mechanischen Leistungen der Verbindungen von Vorhangfassaden werden bereits in Übereinstimmung mit den Festlegungen nach EN 13830 bewertet. Zusätzliche Angaben zur mechanischen Leistung der Verbindungen und zu den direkten Anwendungsbereichen können nach dieser Norm bestimmt werden.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie la méthode d'essai et les exigences pour déterminer la capacité portante des assemblages entre des éléments d'ossature de façades rideaux pour lesquels elle ne peut pas être calculée selon les codes courants ou les calculs classiques basés sur la résistance des matériaux.

Ta evropski standard določa preskusno metodo za ugotavljanje obremenitvene zmogljivosti spojev med okvirnimi elementi obešene fasade, za katere ni mogoče izračunati obremenitve zmogljivosti v skladu z veljavnim kodeksom ali konvencionalnim izračunom na podlagi trdnosti materialov.
