Glass in building - Glazing requirements - Use of glazing blocks (ISO/DIS 14439:2000)

This European Standard applies to all the basic types of flat glass (sheet, plate and float, cast, wired and not-wired, clear and tinted), as well as to allthe derived processed flat glasses (laminated, toughened, coated and insulated glasses) such as are defined in appropriate European Standards. For certain glass products additional considerations may apply. The Standard does not apply to certain other products such as curved, corrugated or channel-shaped glasses. Structural glazing is excluded.

Diese Europäische Norm ist für alle Basis-Flachglasarten (Fensterglas, Spiegelglas und Floatglas, Gußglas, Glas mit oder ohne Drahteinlage sowie klares und eingefärbtes Glas), aber auch für alle weiterverarbeiteten Flachgläser (Verbundglas, vollvorgespanntes Glas, beschichtetes Glas und Isolierglas) anwendbar, soweit diese in entsprechenden Europäischen Normen definiert sind. Bei einigen Glaserzeugnissen können zusätzliche Gesichtspunktezu berücksichtigen sein. Die Norm ist nicht bei Glaserzeugnissen wie gebogenes Glas, Wellglas oder Profilbauglas anzuwenden.

La présente norme européenne s'applique à tous les produits verriers plans de base (verre étiré, glace, verre coulé, armés ou non, coloré ou non) ainsi qu'à tous les produits transformés plans qui en découlent (verres feuilletés, trempés, à couches, isolants) tels que définis dans les normes européennes correspondantes. Pour certains produits verriers, des considérations supplémentaires peuvent s'appliquer. La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux verres bombés, verres ondulés et profilés en forme U. Le vitrage extérieur collé est exclu de la présente norme.
