Bidets - Functional requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies the functional requirements and test methods for bidets used for domestic purposes and made from either ceramics or stainless steel.
All drawings are examples only, other forms are permissible.
NOTE   For the purposes of this standard the term ‘domestic purposes‘ includes use in hotels, accommodation for students, hospitals and similar buildings, except when special medical provisions are required.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Funktionsanforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Sitzwaschbecken für den Hausgebrauch entweder aus Sanitärkeramik oder aus nichtrostendem Stahl fest.
Alle Bilder sind nur beispielhaft; andere Formen sind zulässig.
ANMERKUNG   Der Begriff „für den Hausgebrauch“ in dieser Norm schließt die Verwendung in Hotels, Studentenwohn¬heimen, Krankenhäusern und ähnlichen Einrichtungen ein; ausgenommen ist die medizinische Verwendung.

Bidets - Exigences fonctionnelles et méthodes d'essai

La présente Norme européenne détermine les exigences fonctionnelles et les méthodes d’essai relatives aux bidets à usage domestique, en céramique ou en acier inoxydable.
Toutes les figures ne sont que des exemples, d’autres formes sont admises.
NOTE   Pour les besoins de la présente norme, le terme « à usage domestique » inclut l’utilisation en hôtel, en logement pour étudiants, en hôpitaux et autres bâtiments similaires, sauf si des précautions médicales particulières s’imposent.

This draft amendment is submitted to CEN members for enquiry. It has been drawn up by the Technical Committee CEN/TC 163.

This draft amendment A1, if approved, will modify the European Standard EN 14528:2015. If this draft becomes an amendment,
CEN members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for inclusion of
this amendment into the relevant national standard without any alteration.

This draft amendment was established by CEN in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other
language made by translation under the responsibility of a CEN member into its own language and notified to the CEN-CENELEC
Management Centre has the same status as the official versions.
