Adhesives for non-pressure thermoplastic piping systems - Specifications

This European Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for adhesives used for joining the components of unplasticised poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U), chlorinated poly(vinyl chloride)(PVC-C), acrylonitrile -butadiene-styrene (ABS) and styrene copoly¬mer blends (PVC+SA¬N) thermoplastic piping systems for fluids under zero pressure (e.g. soil and waste discharge), independent of the application area.
It provides reference for the evaluation of conformity of the adhesive to this EN.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an und Prüfverfahren für Klebstoffe fest, die zum Verbinden
der Bauteile von thermoplastischen Rohrleitungssystemen aus weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U),
chloriertem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-C), Acrylnitril-Butadien-Styrol (ABS) und Styrol-Copolymer-Blends (PVC+SAN)
für Flüssigkeiten verwendet werden, die sich nicht unter Druck befinden (z. B. Ableitung von Abwasser),
unabhängig vom Anwendungsbereich.
Sie schreibt die Bewertung der Konformität des Klebstoffes mit dieser EN vor.

Adhésifs pour systèmes de canalisations thermoplastiques sans pression - Spécifications

La présente norme européenne spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d’essai applicables aux adhésifs
utilisés pour assembler les composants de systèmes de canalisations thermoplastiques constituées de
poly(chlorure de vinyle) non plastifié (PVC-U), de poly(chlorure de vinyle) chloré (PVC-C), d’acrylonitrile-butadiène-
styrène (ABS) et de mélanges de copolymères de styrène (PVC+SAN), pour des liquides sans
pression (des eaux-vannes et des eaux usées, par exemple), quelle que soit la zone d’application.
Une référence est fournie pour évaluer la conformité de l’adhésif à la présente norme européenne.
