Internal blinds - Performance requirements including safety
This European Standard specifies the requirements which internal blinds shall fulfil when fitted to a building. It deals also with the significant machinery hazards relating to construction, transport, installation, operation and maintenance of the blinds (see list of significant hazards in Annex B).
It applies to the internal blinds, whatever their design and nature of the materials used, as listed below:
- venetian blind: free hanging, guided, non-retractable;
- roller blind: free hanging, side guided, with tensioned fabric;
- vertical blind: free hanging, with top and bottom track, and sloping headrail;
- pleated blind: free hanging and guided.
These products may be operated manually, with or without compensating springs, or by means of electric motors (power operated products).
This standard does not apply to Roman Shades, Austrian, Festoon, Pinoleum, laterally moving pleated blinds, insect screens or blinds in sealed glazed units.
Noise aspects are not treated in this standard because this is not considered a safety issue.
This standard is not applicable to internal blinds which are manufactured before the date of publication of this standard.
Abschlüsse innen - Leistungs- und Sicherheitsanforderungen
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen fest, die an einem Gebäude befestigte innere Abschlüsse erfüllen müssen. Die Norm behandelt auch signifikante Gefährdungen bei Motorbedienung für Konstruktion, Transport, Einbau, Bedienung und Wartung von inneren Abschlüssen (siehe Liste der signifikanten Gefährdungen in Anhang B).
Die Norm gilt für alle inneren Abschlüsse unabhängig von deren Konstruktion und der Art der verwendeten Werkstoffe, wie folgt:
Jalousie (innen)/Raffstore: freihängend, geführt, mit nicht raffbaren Lamellen;
Rollo: freihängend, seitlich geführt, mit gespanntem Tuch;
Vertikaljalousie (innen): freihängend, oben und unten geführt und mit geneigter Oberschiene;
Faltstore: freihängend und geführt.
Diese Produkte können manuell bedient werden, mit oder ohne ausgleichende Federn, oder mittels Elektromotoren (kraftbetätigte Produkte).
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Raffrollos, Girlanden, Pinoleum-Rollos, Faltstores mit Seitwärtsbewegung, Insektenschutzgitter oder Abschlüsse in geschlossenen Verglasungen.
Aspekte des Schallschutzes sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm, da sie nicht als sicherheitstechnisch relevant betrachtet werden.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für innere Abschlüsse, die vor dem Veröffentlichungsdatum dieser Norm hergestellt wurden.
Stores intérieurs - Exigences de performance, y compris la sécurité
La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences que doivent respecter les stores intérieurs équipant les bâtiments. Elle traite également des risques significatifs liés aux machines relatifs aux opérations de fabrication, transport, installation, utilisation et de maintenance des stores intérieurs (voir la liste des phénomènes dangereux significatifs en Annexe B).
Elle s'applique aux stores intérieurs, quelles que soient leur conception et la nature des matériaux utilisés, dont la liste est donnée ci-après :
store vénitien : libre, guidé, vélum ;
store à enroulement : libre, guidé, à rouleau automatique, à tension permanente ;
store à bandes verticales : libre, avec guidage haut et bas, incliné ;
store plissé : libre, guidé.
Ces produits peuvent être manœuvrés manuellement, avec ou sans ressorts de compensation, ou au moyen de moteurs électriques (produits motorisés).
La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux stores bateaux, bouillonnés, stores japonais, stores plissés à refoulement latéral, aux moustiquaires ainsi qu'aux stores intégrés dans les vitrages isolants.
N’étant pas considérés comme une question de sécurité, les aspects liés au bruit ne sont pas traités dans cette norme.
La présente norme n’est pas applicable aux stores intérieurs fabriqués avant la date de publication de cette norme.
