Ce Rapport Technique fournit les principes généraux à appliquer pour la validité des résultats d'essai effectués selon des versions antérieures de Normes européennes révisées, en fonction de la nature de la révision.
Ce Rapport Technique s'applique aux méthodes d'essais biologiques utilisées pour déterminer l'efficacité des produits de préservation du bois selon la classe d'emploi.
NOTE   Il convient d'introduire les principes généraux donnés dans ce Rapport Technique en annexe informative à EN 599 1

Foreword
This document CEN/TR 14542:2003 has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 38 “Durability of wood
and wood-based products”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
The status of this document as Technical Report has been chosen because this document gives only guidelines for
standards writers for the drafting of new revised standards regarding the validity of test results between former
version of a revised standard.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
countries are bound to announce this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland,
