Specification for hose couplings for petrol, oil and lubricants - High pressure couplings

This Technical Specification specifies requirements for couplings of 2 in (50,8 mm), 2½ in (63,5 mm), 3 in (76,2 mm) and 4 in (101,6 mm) nominal sizes with ribbed tails and hexagons for use at pressures not exceeding 1 550 kN/m2 (225 lbf/in2). For assembly of coupling, see Figure 1.
This document is applicable to couplings which have been designed primarily for aircraft refuelling purposes, but they may also be used for other general purposes.

Diese Technische Spezifikation legt die Anforderungen an Kupplungen mit den Nenngrößen 2 in (50,8 mm), 2½ in (63,5 mm), 3 in (76,2 mm) und 4 in (101,6 mm) mit Einbindefeldern und Sechskant für die Anwendung bei Drücken, die 1 550 kN/m2 (225 lbf/in2) nicht überschreiten, fest. Hinsichtlich des Kupplungszusam-menbaus siehe Bild 1.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Kupplungen, die vorwiegend für die Betankung von Luftfahrzeugen konstruiert wurden, jedoch dürfen sie auch für andere allgemeine Zwecke eingesetzt werden.

Za sestavljanje spojke glejte sliko 1. Ta dokument velja za spojke, zasnovane prvenstveno za namene oskrbe letal z gorivom, ki pa se lahko uporabljajo tudi za druge splošne namene.

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 16 December 2013 for provisional application.

The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.

CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
