This document specifies a method to measure the spreadability characteristics of bituminous mixtures which are able to vary with time. It can be used for the determination of the delay between manufacturing and laying. It is intended to be assistance for bituminous mixtures design rather than a type test.
This document applies to bituminous mixtures both those made up in laboratory and those resulting from work site sampling, with an upper aggregate size not larger than 31,5 mm. It is not applicable to mastic asphalt.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Messung der Ausbreitungseigenschaften von Asphalt fest, die sich mit der Zeit ändern können. Dieses Verfahren kann für die Bestimmung der Verzögerung zwischen Herstellung und Einbau angewendet werden. Es ist eher als Unterstützung bei der Konzeption des Asphalts gedacht als zur Typprüfung.
Dieses Dokument gilt sowohl für Asphalte, die im Labor hergestellt wurden, als auch für Asphalte, die an der Baustelle entnommen wurden, mit einer oberen Korngröße der Gesteinskörnung bis höchstens 31,5 mm. Es ist nicht für Gussasphalt anwendbar.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode permettant de mesurer les caractéristiques de maniabilité d’un mélange bitumineux qui sont susceptibles de varier dans le temps. Elle peut être employée pour déterminer le délai entre fabrication et mise en oeuvre. Plus qu’une épreuve de formulation, elle se veut être une aide à la formulation des mélanges.
Le document s’applique aux mélanges bitumineux, ceux confectionnés en laboratoire comme ceux provenant d’un prélèvement sur chantier, ayant une dimension granulaire maximale ne dépassant pas 31,5 mm. Elle ne s’applique pas aux asphaltes coulés routiers.

Cilj preskusa je določanje povečanja kohezije bitumenske zmesi pri fiksni temperaturi in vlažnosti z merjenjem razširjanja. Ta evropski standard določa metodo za merjenje lastnosti razširjanja pri asfaltu, ki se lahko spreminjajo skozi čas. Lahko se uporablja za določanje zakasnitve med proizvodnjo in polaganjem. Namenjena je za pomoč pri projektiranju zmesi in ne tipski preskus. Ta evropski standard se uporablja za bitumenske zmesi (za tiste, izdelane v laboratoriju, in za tiste, ki izhajajo iz vzorčenja na delovišču) z velikostjo zgornjega agregata največ 31,5 mm. Ne uporablja se za liti asfalt.

1 Scope

4 Principle
The aim of the test is to determine the cohesion increase of a bituminous mixture in fixed temperature
and hygrometry conditions, using a spreadability-meter.
The cohesion increase test consists of measuring of the resistance against the shear due to the progress
