This EN contains requirements for the construction and testing of equipment with type of protection flameproof enclosure, intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Nicht-elektrische Geräte für den Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen - Teil 3: Schutz durch druckfeste Kapselung 'd'
Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an Konstruktion, Bewertung, Bau und Prüfung von Geräten fest, die für den Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeten Gas oder Staubatmosphären bestimmt sind und die durch die Schutzart Druckfeste Kapselung "d" geschützt sind.
Dieses Dokument ist ergänzt die Anforderungen nach EN 13463 1, deren gesamter Inhalt ebenfalls auf Geräte zutrifft, die nach dem vorliegenden Dokument gebaut wurden. Geräte, die mit den entsprechenden Abschnitten dieses Dokuments übereinstimmen, erfüllen die Anforderungen der folgenden Kategorien:
¾ Gerätegruppe I, Kategorie M2 - Geräte, die keine durch schwere Betriebsbedingungen, besonders durch raue Handhabung und wechselnde Umgebungsbedingungen, hervorgerufene Zündquelle enthalten,
¾ Gerätegruppe II, Kategorie 2G oder 2D - Geräte, die keine durch vorhersehbare Störung entstehende Zündquelle enthalten.
Die in diesem Dokument beschriebene Zündschutzart kann entweder für sich genommen oder zusammen mit anderen Zündschutzarten angewendet werden, um die Anforderungen an Geräte der Gruppe I, Kategorie M2 oder der Gruppe II, Kategorien 1 und 2, abhängig von der Zündgefahrenbewertung nach EN 13463-1 zu erfüllen.
ANMERKUNG Die Anforderungen an Geräte der Gruppe I, Kategorie M1, sind in EN 50303 enthalten, die die Anforderungen sowohl für elektrische als auch für nicht elektrische Geräte festlegt.
Dieses Dokument darf auf Grund der Schwierigkeiten hinsichtlich der Prüfung und Festlegung der Anforderungen nicht bei Geräten angewendet werden, die für die Verwendung in Schwefelstaub und organischen Peroxiden bestimmt sind.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für den Zündschutz von elektrischen Geräten bzw. Hubkolben-Verbrennungsmotoren. Für diese Anforderungen muss auf EN 60079-0 und EN 60079-1 für elektrische Geräte und EN 1834-1, -2 und -3 für Hubkolben-Verbrennungsmotoren verwiesen werden.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives à la conception, à l'évaluation, à la fabrication et aux essais
des appareils destinés à être utilisés dans des atmosphères de gaz ou de poussières explosibles et protégés par le
mode de protection appelé enveloppe antidéflagrante 'd'.
Il complète les exigences de l�EN 13463-1 dont le contenu s'applique aussi en totalité aux appareils fabriqués
conformément au présent document. Les appareils conformes aux articles correspondants du présent document
répondent aux exigences relatives aux catégories suivantes :
- appareils de la catégorie M2 du groupe I � qui ne contiennent pas de source d'inflammation provenant de
conditions d'exploitation contraignantes, en particulier de manipulations brutales et de conditions ambiantes
variables ;
- appareils des catégories 2G ou 2D du groupe II � qui ne contiennent pas de source d'inflammation pouvant
résulter de dysfonctionnements prévisibles.
Le mode de protection contre l'inflammation décrit dans ce document peut être utilisé soit seul, soit en combinaison
avec d'autres modes de protection contre l'inflammation pour répondre aux exigences des appareils des catégories
M2 du groupe I ou des catégories 1 et 2 du groupe II en fonction de l'évaluation du risque d'inflammation selon
l�EN 13463-1.
NOTE Les exigences relatives aux appareils de la catégorie M1 du groupe I sont données dans EN 50303 qui spécifie les
exigences relatives aux appareils électriques et non électriques.
Le présent document ne doit pas être appliqué dans le cas d�appareils destinés à être utilisés dans les poussières
de soufre et les peroxydes organiques en raison de la difficulté à réaliser des essais et à spécifier des exigences.
