Geotextiles and geotextile-related products - Determination of water permeability characteristics normal to the plane, without load (ISO 11058:2010)
ISO 11058:2010 specifies two test methods for determining the water permeability characteristics of a single layer of geotextile or geotextile-related product normal to the plane:
- the constant head method;
- the falling head method.

Diese Internationale Norm legt zwei Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Wasserdurchlässigkeit eines einlagigen
Geotextils oder geotextilverwandten Produktes normal zu seiner Ebene fest:
a) das Verfahren mit konstanter Druckhöhe;
b) das Verfahren mit fallender Druckhöhe.
ANMERKUNG Wenn der volle Umfang der charakteristischen Wasserdurchlässigkeit eines Geotextils oder geotextilverwandten
Produktes schon einmal ermittelt worden ist, kann es für Kontrollzwecke genügen, den Geschwindigkeitsindex
bei einem hydraulischen Höhenunterschied von nur 50 mm zu bestimmen.

L'ISO 11058:2010 spécifie deux méthodes d'essai pour déterminer la perméabilité à l'eau d'une couche d'un géotextile ou produit apparenté normalement à son plan:
la méthode à hauteur de charge constante;
la méthode à hauteur de charge variable décroissante.

Ta evropski standard določa dve preskusni metodi za ugotavljanje značilnosti prepustnosti za vodo enojne plasti geotekstilij ali geotekstilijam sorodnega izdelka pravokotno na ravnino: metoda s stalno višino in metoda s padajočo višino. Opomba: Če so bile že prej vzpostavljene značilnosti polne prepustnosti geotekstilij ali geotekstilijam sorodnega izdelka, je lahko za potrebe kontrole dovolj določiti indeks hitrosti samo pri višinski izgubi 50 mm.

This document (EN ISO 11058:2010) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 221
"Geosynthetics" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 189 “Geosynthetics”, the secretariat of
which is held by NBN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by October 2010.
