Glass in building - Coated glass - Part 2: Requirements and test methods for class A, B and S coatings

This part of the European Standard defines characteristics, requirements and test methods of coating on glass for use in buildings. These tests are aimed at evaluating the resistance of the coating to attack by simulated natural weathering conditions as well as abrasion.This part of the standard applies to class A,B and S coatings as defined in EN 1096-1.

Dieser Teil der Europäischen Norm legt Prüfverfahren und Durchführungen zur Charakterisierung der Dauerhaftigkeit beschichteter Gläser für die Anwendung im Bauwesen fest. Diese Europäische Norm ist anwendbar für Beschichtungen der Klassen A, B und S, wie in prEN 1096-1 definiert. Anmerkung: Die hier beschriebenen Prüfverfahren decken nicht alle möglichen Anwendungen beschichteter Gläser im Bauwesen ab, z.B. Brüstungsplatten, Doppelfenster usw.

La présente norme européenne définit les méthodes d'essai et les procédures permettant d'établir la durabilité du verre à couche utilisé dans la construction. La présente norme européenne s'applique aux couches de Classe A, Classe B et Classe S, telles que définies dans le prEN 1096-1. Note: Les méthodes d'essai de la présente norme européenne ne couvrent pas l'ensemble des applications possibles du verre à couche dans la construciton, par exemple allèges, double peau, double fenêtre.
