This European Standard applies to detachable connections with outside threaded pipe G ¾ A in accordance with EN ISO 228-1. These are used in the field of heating and cooling emission systems at the following hydraulic connection points: connection between radiators or circuit distributors and the respective pipe. Another connection point, for radiators with integrated valve sets, is the screw connection to the connection fitting or to the screw connection itself.
This European Standard specifies the dimensions for the single and the double connection.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für lösbare Verbindungen mit Rohraußengewinde G ¾ A nach EN ISO 228-1. Diese werden im Bereich der Heiz- und Kühltechnik an folgenden hydraulischen Verbindungsstellen eingesetzt: Verbindung zwischen Heizkörpern oder Heizkreisverteilern zum jeweiligen Rohr. Eine andere Verbindungsstelle ist beim Heizkörper mit integrierten Ventilgarnituren die Verschraubung zum Hahnblock oder direkt zur Verschraubung.
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Maße für den Einzelanschluss und Doppelanschluss fest.

La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux raccords démontables à filetage extérieur cylindrique G ¾ A conformément à l'EN ISO 228-1. Ceux-ci sont utilisés dans les systèmes de chauffage ou de refroidissement aux points de raccordement hydraulique suivants : raccords entre un corps de chauffe ou un distributeur de circuit et la tuyauterie correspondante. Dans le cas des corps de chauffe avec robinetterie intégrée, le point de raccordement est aussi le raccord à vis vers la pièce de raccordement ou le raccord à vis lui-même.
La présente Norme européenne spécifie les dimensions du raccord simple et du raccord double.
