This European Standard specifies the requirement for exfoliated vermiculite products, which are used for in-situ thermal insulation of building equipment and industrial installations with an operating temperature in the range of approximately – 40 ºC to + 1050 ºC.
This European Standard specifies the requirements for the four types of exfoliated vermiculite products Vermiculite Aggregate (EVA), Coated Vermiculite (EVC), Hydrophobic Vermiculite (EVH) and Premixed Vermiculite (EVM), containing less than 1 % by mass organic material as determined by Annex C in EN 15600-1:2010.
This European Standard is a specification for the installed products.
This European Standard also specifies the checks and test procedures to be used for the declaration made by the installer of the product.
This European Standard does not specify the required level of all properties to be achieved by a product to demonstrate fitness for purpose in a particular application. The required levels are to be found in regulations or non-conflicting standards.
This European Standard does not include factory made insulation products of formed shapes and boards made with exfoliated vermiculite.
The products covered by this European Standard are not intended to be used primarily for airborne sound insulation or sound absorption applications although they may improve the performance of the installation in these respects when installed for their primary insulation intended use.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Produkte aus expandiertem Vermiculit fest, die als an der
Verwendungsstelle hergestellte Wärmedämmstoffe für die Haustechnik und betriebstechnische Anlagen im
Betriebstemperaturbereich von etwa − 40 °C bis + 1 050 °C eingesetzt werden.
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an die vier Produktarten von expandiertem Vermiculit fest,
d. h. Vermiculitkörner (en: Vermiculite Aggregate, EVA), beschichtetes Vermiculit (en: Coated Vermiculite,
EVC), wasserabstoßendes Vermiculit (en: Hydrophobic Vermiculite, EVH) und vorgemischtes Vermiculit (en:
Premixed Vermiculite, EVM), deren nach Anhang C der EN 15600-1:2010 bestimmter Massenanteil an
organischen Stoffen weniger als 1 % beträgt.
Diese Europäische Norm ist eine Spezifikation für die eingebauten Produkte.
Diese Europäische Norm legt auch die Überprüfungen und Prüfverfahren fest, die für die vom Installateur für
das Produkt abzugebende Erklärung anzuwenden sind.
Diese Europäische Norm legt keine Anforderungsstufen für die Eigenschaften fest, die ein Produkt erreichen
muss, um für einen bestimmten Anwendungszweck gebrauchstauglich zu sein. Die erforderlichen Stufen sind
Vorschriften oder nicht entgegenstehenden Normen zu entnehmen.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für werkmäßig hergestellte Dämmstoffe in vorgefertigten Formen und
Platten aus expandiertem Vermiculit.
Die durch diese Europäische Norm abgedeckten Produkte sind nicht vorwiegend für den Einsatz bei der
Luftschalldämmung und Schallabsorption vorgesehen, obwohl sie die Leistung der Anlage auch in dieser
Hinsicht verbessern können, wenn sie mit dem vorgesehenen Hauptverwendungszweck der Dämmung
eingebaut werden.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux produits de vermiculite exfoliée, utilisés pour l’isolation thermique en place dans le bâtiment et les installations industrielles à une température de fonctionnement comprise entre 40 °C et 1 050 °C environ.
La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives à quatre types de produits de vermiculite exfoliée : granulats de vermiculite (EVA), vermiculite enrobée (EVC), vermiculite hydrophobe (EVH) et vermiculite prémélangée (EVM), contenant moins de 1 % en masse de matériaux organiques, déterminé par l'Annexe C dans l’EN 15600-1:2010.
La présente Norme européenne est une spécification destinée aux produits installés.
La présente Norme européenne spécifie également les contrôles et les modes opératoires d’essai à utiliser pour la déclaration faite par l’installateur du produit.
La présente Norme européenne ne spécifie pas le niveau requis de toutes les propriétés nécessaires pour qu’un produit démontre son aptitude à l’emploi dans une application particulière. Il est possible d’obtenir les niveaux requis dans des réglementations ou dans des normes non-divergentes.
La présente Norme européenne n’inclut pas les produits d’isolation formés fabriqués en usine ni les panneaux à base de vermiculite exfoliée.
Les produits traités par la présente Norme internationale ne sont pas, à l’origine, destinés à être utilisés pour l’isolation aux bruits aériens ou pour des applications d’absorption du son même s'ils peuvent améliorer les performances de l'installation en ce sens, lorsqu'ils sont installés pour l’isolation dans les conditions d’utilisation prévue à l'origine.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za proizvode iz ekspandiranega vermikulita, ki se uporabljajo za toplotno izolacijo oblikovano na mestu vgradnje, za opremo stavb in industrijske inštalacije z delovnim temperaturnim razponom med približno -40 ºC do + 1050 ºC. Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za štiri vrste proizvodov iz ekspandiranega vermikulita: vermikulitni agregat (EVA), prevlečen vermikulit (EVC), hidrofobni vermikulit (EVH) in vnaprej namešan vermikulit (EVM), ki vsebujejo manj kot 1 % masnega deleža organskih materialov, kot je določeno v Dodatku C v EN 15600-1:2010.
