EN ISO 14723:2009

Petroleum and natural gas industries - Pipeline transportation systems - Subsea pipeline valves (ISO 14723:2009)

ISO 14723:2009 specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the design, manufacturing, testing and documentation of ball, check, gate and plug valves for subsea application in offshore pipeline systems meeting the requirements of ISO 13623 for the petroleum and natural gas industries.
ISO 14723:2009 is not applicable to valves for pressure ratings exceeding PN 420 (Class 2500).

L'ISO 14723:2009 spécifie les exigences et donne des recommandations pour la conception, la fabrication, les essais et la documentation des vannes à boisseau sphérique, des clapets de retenue, des robinets-vannes et des vannes à boisseau pour application sous-marine dans des systèmes de conduites en mer satisfaisant aux exigences de l'ISO 13623 pour les industries du pétrole et du gaz naturel.
L'ISO 14723:2009 n'est pas applicable aux vannes ayant une pression nominale supérieure à PN 420 (Classe 2500).

This document (EN ISO 14723:2009) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 67 "Materials,
equipment and offshore structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries" in collaboration
with Technical Committee CEN/TC 12 “Materials, equipment and offshore structures for petroleum,
petrochemical and natural gas industries” the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2009, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by December 2009.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 14723:2001.
